About This Role
We’re hiring a hybrid mobile app developer who lives and breathes the Ionic + Angular + Capacitor stack. You’ll own cross-platform apps end to end — from Angular components to native builds shipped on the Play Store and App Store. This is a hands-on build role with direct client exposure, not ticket-pushing.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship cross-platform iOS and Android apps using Ionic Framework with Angular, packaged via Capacitor
- Integrate native device capabilities through Capacitor plugins — camera, geolocation, push notifications, biometrics, file system, secure storage
- Manage the full native build pipeline: Xcode and Android Studio configs, signing, versioning, store submissions and release updates
- Consume and integrate REST APIs; handle state with RxJS, offline storage and data sync
- Debug across real devices and OS versions; optimise app performance, load time and bundle size
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, platform-consistent interfaces
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and client demos
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on hybrid mobile app development
- Strong Angular (v14+) and TypeScript, with solid RxJS fundamentals
- Deep working knowledge of Ionic — components, navigation, theming, lifecycle
- Proven Capacitor experience: plugin integration, native project configuration, iOS/Android builds
- Comfortable inside Xcode and Android Studio for native builds and debugging
- Experience publishing apps to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- REST API integration, Git-based workflows
